My Favorite Eyeshadow Palettes

One of my greatest makeup guilty pleasures is eyeshadow palettes- if it has a color scheme I like, I'll definitely get it. I do have my favorite eyeshadow palettes though. Even though I don't hate any makeup, I don't like some products enough to call it a favorite.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette
This palette has been my all-time favorite ever since I got it. It's packed with 14 beautifully pigmented shades, and it is also mostly neutral but has warm tones like red, gold, and orange thrown in, making this a perfect autumnal palette. You also only need a little bit of product in order to make this work, making it top notch quality.

Urban Decay Naked Palette
The Naked Palette is another favorite because of how old-school and timeless it is. It is filled with 12 neutral shades, some on the cooler side, and some on the warmer side, and it has a lot of one-wash wonders as well. The Naked palette is versatile, meaning you can create a day look with the browns and lighter shimmery colors or you can create a night-time look with the darker, smokier colors.

Urban Decay Naked 2
The successor to the Naked palette, the Naked 2 has a range of cool-toned neutral tones, but also ultimately has a lot of one-wash wonders. The Naked 2 isn't as versatile as the original Naked palette, but it is still versatile enough to create many neutral looks for work.

Urban Decay Naked 3
The third installment of the Naked palettes, the Naked 3 is personally my favorite due to me being a complete sucker for anything rose gold, copper, and blush pink, which is exactly what the theme for the Naked 3 is. The Naked 3 has 12 shadows, much like its two predecessors, but unlike the previous palettes, the Naked 3 is chock full of rosy, blush-toned shadows with a few neutral shades thrown in.

Tarte Tartelette Toasted
Between the Tartelette Toasted and the Urban Decay Naked Heat, I prefer the Tartelette Toasted because of one thing, and that one thing is that the Tartelette Toasted offers more neutral colors than the Urban Decay Naked Heat. Don't get me wrong, I love the Naked Heat too, but it's very hard to not just resort to one wash wonder looks or two-shadow looks because of the similarity between all the shades of the palette. The Tartelette Toasted also has plenty of one-wash wonders, but if you don't feel like wearing a rusty eye, you can use the lighter neutrals in the palette to create more of an everyday look as well.

Stila Matte n' Metal Palette
The Stila Matte n' Metal palette is another strong favorite of mine. Unlike my other palettes, the Stila Matte n' Metal palette is unusual because it is square shaped instead of being a long rectangle. It also, very unusually, has an equal number of shimmery and matte eyeshadows (six shimmery, six mattes).  The palette itself is blush toned in theme but has some neutral colors as well.
