My Favorite Highlighters

by - Friday, January 11, 2019

I don't use highlighter that much, but I'm trying to use up some of the highlighters I have in my collection. Like any other makeup product, I do have my favorites, and here are some of my favorite highlighters.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glow Kit
I love the ABH Moonchild Glow Kit because it is a colorful highlighter kit, even if all the shades are pastel. There are six highlighters contained in the kit: Blue Ice, a white-blue, Star, a pure blue, Purple Horseshoe, a blue-purple, Pink Heart, a pink glow, Lucky Clover, a pale green, and Blue Moon, a cool toned blue

Laura Geller Baked Gelato Trio
The Laura Geller Baked Gelato Trio is another highlighter palette favorite. It contains three minis of the Baked Gelato highlighters: Ballerina, a rose gold, Gilded Honey, a pure gold, and Peach Glow, a peachy pink.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light
I absolutely love the Ambient Lighting Powder as a highlighter. It's original intention was to be used as a finishing powder, but I don't use it as such because it makes me look way shinier than I look and I'm not all about the disco ball look. Nontheless, Diffused Light is a beautiful pale champagne that makes it look as though you've been bathed in the early morning light.

Dose of Colors Baked Highlighter in Pearl Dust (discontinued)
This product has unfortunately been discontinued, but I do love the Dose of Colors Baked Highlighter. It gives a soft and subtle glow, much like the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder, and Pearl Dust is a pale pink that reflects silver in some lights.

Nyx Duo Chromatic Illuminator in Lavender Steel
I love myself a good pastel highlighter, and the Nyx Duo Chromatic Illuminator is no exception. I have the shade Lavender Steel which is a pale purple/silver duochrome.
