Three New Skincare Additions & First Impressions

by - Monday, January 14, 2019

Skincare is so incredibly important now that I'm in my 20s, and because I have oily skin, I thought I'd pick up two new bits. Both of these purchases are from Amazon and these are my general first impressions of these new items.

Pearlessence Rose Water
Pearlessence is a brand that I got introduced to at TJ Maxx or Marshalls, because they usually get sold for $8 there. I've tried the Cucumber Mist and the Coconut Mist, and I love both of them dearly, but I have not tried the Rose Water Mist because I never could find it. I purchased it on Amazon a few weeks ago and I love the slightly rosy smell, but it's not too overpowering. I love using these mists after toner, as toner can be slightly astringent.

La Roche Posay Serozinc
I've actually wanted to try this product for a while, and it was available on Amazon, luckily. Serozinc is a zinc sulfate solution but it's supposed to be calming for the skin. So far, I like it because it has no smell and it feels refreshing on the face. This is also my first La Roche Posay product. I bought it because Serozinc is marketed towards oily skin, which I do have.

Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera Gel
I've never tried a skincare product with aloe vera gel in it, and this is marketed towards oily skin, which is great. It acts like a very nice soothing moisturizer and feels cool, but not cold. It does feel slightly sticky due to its nature though.

Have you picked up any new skincare recently?
