Valentine's Week: Valentine's Day Eyeshadow Palettes

by - Sunday, February 10, 2019

Valentine's Day is all about everything red, pink, and any varying shade of those two colors, and it's also a time of year where a few bloggers will do a makeup edit, so here's my little eyeshadow palette edit for Valentine's Day.

Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette
This is personally my favorite Valentine's Day eyeshadow palette because the pans are shaped like hearts, and it's slightly Valentine's Day themed too because of the pinks in the palette. It's sold out at Sephora and Ulta, but you can still get it on the Too Faced website. The shadows themselves are actually quite nice, which is something Too Faced has a problem with (inconsistency between their nine-pan and classic palettes).

Urban Decay Naked 3
Who can forget this blush-colored beauty? This is a perfect Valentine's Day palette for the one who loves those pink eyeshadows, but it's also perfect for everyday wear. Some people have unfortunately found problems with this palette. but I think it works quite well for me, and has plenty of pigmentation with eye primer.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette
I think we can all agree this is a winner for the ages. I love the formula of this palette, and you need only a tiny bit to get a powerful punch of pigmentation. The shadows in Modern Renaissance are also warm toned, but they are cool enough for everyday wear. I love this for Valentine's Day because it's not only full of warm tones, there's a shade called Love Letter which is a slightly pink toned red-a perfect Valentine's red shadow.

What are your favorite eyeshadow palettes for Valentine's Day?
