Review: Love, Beauty & Planet Shampoos & Conditioners

Ever since Love, Beauty, and Planet launched, I've been intrigued by their brand because they are cruelty free, environmentally friendly, and vegan, so when the time came for me to stock up on my own shampoo and conditioner, I bought three sets from LBP.

The first set is Argan Oil & Lavender, and unfortunately during shipping the shampoo kind of exploded within the packaging, but lucky it had a plastic bag around it so only the cap and the plastic bag got wet, and with a bit of washing, it was good to go. The first thing I noticed is that it smells mostly of lavender. This smells pretty nice: it's mostly of lavender, but it's not ridiculously strong so it doesn't smell too herbal-ish. My hair also does feel strangely lighter after using this combo, and I figured it's because it probably doesn't have synthetic stuff in it like other haircare products do.

The second set is Tea Tree Oil & Vertiver. I bought this because it is a refreshing shampoo, and I tend to use a lot of hair products between washes, so this seemed like a great combo to clarify my hair and clean it of any residues. The first thing I noticed with this shampoo is how herbal it smells and how slightly of mint the scent was. This set feels lightweight, and my hair does feel a lot lighter, and it gives my hair a nice, herbal scent.

The third and final set is Coconut Oil & Ylang Ylang. This doesn't really smell of anything, but it does smell slightly like coconuts and repairs any damage from heat, dyeing it one too many times, or what have you. This feels a bit heavier than the Lavender and Argan Oil pair, but it does make my hair feel very nourished, which I appreciate.

All in all, I really love the Love, Beauty and Planet range and plan to buy more from them.
