Let's Talk: Hair Removal & Two Epilator Reviews

Let's start this off by talking about something no blogger really talks about: hair removal! We all know this struggle, right? I got fed up of shaving, so I decided to try the next best thing: epilating! Epilating basically removes hair by the root so it doesn't grow back for a while, unlike shaving which only cuts off the top part of the hair and I've heard that if you do it enough times the hair stops growing completely, so I bought two epilators: a little one and a big one.

Let's start with the big one: the Braun Silk epi-5. It was relatively pricey on Amazon-standing at roughly $74, but I love it. The device itself is chargable, and comes with three different attachments. Even though it's painful at first (especially around sensitive bits), it becomes less painful the more you do it, and it removes hair pretty well. The best part is that you can use it wet or dry-meaning that it won't be damaged or stop working if you use it in the bath or shower.

The second smaller epilator is from Remington, and unlike the one from Braun, it's completely battery operated, so make sure you stockpile those double-A batteries! This also unfortunately does not work well when wet as it will make the bit where you put the battery dirty, but it works really well despite that fact. I use this one for unwanted face hair and it works pretty dang well.

Have you ever epilated before?
