Four New In Powders

by - Thursday, May 23, 2019

During the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty event, I went a little crazy on loose powders. Loose powders are one of my favorite makeup products, aside from foundations and lipstick, because loose powder is the only thing that works for my oil slick of a face. Anyway, here are the four new powders I bought during the sale!

Dermablend Loose Powder
I first got interested in Dermablend after they were on a couple of the 21 Days of Beauty sales. I've seen the Loose Powder on sale a couple of times, so this time around, I finally bit the bullet and bought it. It shows up white in the little pot, which might scare some people, but it works like my Shiseido powder: it turns translucent when applied.

Beauty Bakerie Flour Setting Powder
Beauty Bakerie came onto the beauty scene sometime in 2016, and were instantly known for their lip products, which do not come off unless you have an oil-based remover. When I saw their Flour Setting Powder go on sale during the 21 Days of Beauty, I also snagged it up, and it's a great setting powder, but I have a feeling its purpose is more for baking (setting concealer with powder by piling it on, letting it sit, and then brushing off the excess).

Too Faced Ethereal Setting Powder
This might be my new favorite powder, because as much as I don't want to admit it, I love the packaging on this, and it acts pretty similarly to two of my favorite powders: the CoverFX Perfect Setting Powder & the Boots Perfect Light Setting Powder.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Setting Powder
The It Cosmetics Bye Bye Setting Powder is a bit chalky, but for the most part, it's mostly a good setting powder, but does have a tiny tiny bit of a white cast.

Have you bought any new setting powders lately?
