Makeup Review: Too Faced Chocolate Gold Palette

by - Wednesday, May 15, 2019

Ever since the Too Faced Chocolate Gold palette came out, I've been eyeing it on and off for the past few months, but it happened to go on sale during Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty, so I snagged one and I have some thoughts.

The packaging is unique-it has a metallic mirror-like gold on the palette itself, which I've never seen with any other Too Faced palette.

The palette contains 16 shadows, and the one thing that sets this apart from all the other Too Faced palettes is how much more colorful it is.

Now for some swatches!

Money Bags-a deep emerald
Chocolate Gold-deep gold
Rich Girl-silver lilac
Cocoa Truffle-deep brown
Decadent-black

Love & Cocoa-shimmery pale brown
Old Money-shimmery orange
New Money-hot pink
Famous-bronze gold
Classy & Sassy-light copper
So Boujee-warm brown

Holla for a Dolla-olive green
Gold Dipped-pale gold
Livin Lavish-purple
Drippin Diamonds-silver
Rollin in Dough-beige

Overall, the formula of this palette is more similar to the Chocolate Bon Bons palette, and I actually quite like how the formula goes on with eye primer. The palette itself also smells of chocolate, like everything else in the Chocolate range, and overall, I really like this palette!
