Everything I've Been Playing Recently

by - Sunday, June 30, 2019

Not many of you guys know that I'm a bit of a hardcore gamer, but in terms of achievements because I somehow have made the top 3 achievement slots ever since I got my Xbox back in February, but anyway, the real topic here is everything I've been playing recently (read: since I got my Xbox lol)!

Overwatch ($60)
I got this game when it was on sale for $20, and I never even meant to love it (I was one of those people who thought it was overhyped), but now look at me; I play this damn game every single time I get on my Xbox. Also if anyone's wondering who I main, I main D.Va if I'm playing a Tank, Sombra and Widowmaker for damage class, and Mercy & Brigitte as support.

 Farm Together ($20)
This  is just a game that I play when I want to just chill (aka probably the only non-violent game I have). This game is just you making your farm as big as possible and growing things such as food and flowers to make money on your farm.

Borderlands (GOTY Edition) ($30)
I finished the main storyline and all of the DLC about a month ago, but I LOVE the Borderlands franchise and I can't wait for the third game to come out in September. I main the Siren class, which would be Lilith.

Borderlands 2 ($60 w/ the Handsome Collection)
I mostly play this game with friends as I find BL2 a lot more difficult to solo than the first BL game, but it's still fun. Like the first BL game, I also main the Siren class in this game (Maya).

Halo: The Master Chief Collection ($30 w/ Gamepass)
No joke, this was the first game I downloaded when I got my Xbox completely hooked up, and it's stayed in my installed games ever since for a good reason. You can play it alone or with other people, or you could even jump into their multiplayer mode (which I don't do). The game is basically a compilation of Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST, and 4, but one thing I found annoying is that you need a copy of ODST for it to even load.  4 is probably my favorite out of all the five games as it has Forerunner weapons that also appear in Halo 5

Halo 5
I love all the Halo games minus the weird ones like Spartan Assault, and this one actually features two teams that you can play as which gives the story an interesting spin.

Fallout 4
I know I have this game on PC, but something broke on the PC version because now it takes an entire eon for it to even load, but I've gotten so much further on the Xbox version (I've gotten up to the point where I've met the protagonist's grown up son).

Left 4 Dead 2
I don't think I need to explain myself on this, but this is another game I have on both PC and Xbox, and it's your classic zombie shooter.
