My Favorite Bold Lipsticks That Aren't Red/Berry

by - Thursday, August 29, 2019

I love a good old fashioned red or berry lipstick, but sometimes, I don't even feel like wearing those colors, but luckily for me, there are some bold lipsticks I have that aren't red, berry, or any of the shades in between.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Allison
As with every ABH lipstick to ever exist, Allison is drying-as much as I love the ABH liquid lipsticks, I can no longer tolerate applying them straight to my mouth so I dab a little bit on and blend it in with my fingers. However, despite this, I love how rich Allison is. It's a deep brown toned pink that literally is a dream for the colder months.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Chai-I'm definitely going to buy the full size once I finish my little samples up, as Chai is a deep brown-toned pink that looks subtle on me. The formula of the Bite lipsticks is rich and creamy, making this one of my more comfortable bullet lipsticks to wear.

Milani Matte Satin Lipstick in Classic-The shade name definitely matches because Classic is definitely a slightly deep mauve-the kind that won't stand out but you know it's there. The formula of the Matte Satins is slightly more slippy than the original Amore Mattes, almost similar to the Colourpop Ultra Satin Lipsticks.

Jouer Lip Creams in Tawny Rose, Lychee-These are one of my more recent liquid lipstick additions, but the Jouer Lip Creams in Tawny Rose and Lychee are some of my favorite neutral bolds. Tawny Rose is a deep brown-toned rose which is barely noticeable, and Lychee is a bright neutral pink perfect for spring and summer.
