Best Discoveries of 2019: Face Products

by - Monday, December 16, 2019

2019 has brought about a lot of new discoveries, but one particular category that has certainly caught my interest is face products, ranging from foundations to blush to powders. Here are some of my favorite face product discoveries from this year.

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation
This is easily the winner out of all the foundations I've discovered this year. It has a doe foot applicator, similar to the Tarte Face Tape foundations, and is also quite full coverage and has easily become a favorite due to the convenience and the applicator.

Nyx Can't Stop Won't Stop Full Coverage Foundation
This foundation is easily another winner, as it's also quite full coverage, but it is slightly higher than drugstore price.

Kokie Cosmetics Skin Perfect HD Foundation
This foundation literally feels like nothing on the skin, which makes it about 5 times better than it actually is at drugstore pricing.

CYO Lifeproof Foundation
This foundation is my favorite drugstore matte foundation, which is handy given that CYO is about to be discontinued soon.

Laura Mercier Translucent Powder
Easily one of the best powder discoveries of the year. I know why this powder has been hyped up all this time-it's silky, doesn't look cakey, and looks beautiful in the light.

Too Faced Ethereal Setting Powder
This is also another great powder discovery of this year, as it does control oil, but it doesn't give that white, cracked finish.

Beauty Bakerie Flour Loose Powder
This powder is originally meant for baking, but I use it as an all over powder purely because of its ability to last all day.

Zoeva Soft Sun Glow Lights (shade Moonlit)
Zoeva has some seriously awesome products, and the Glow Lights is no exception. The shade Moonlit is a beautiful glowy mauve that reminds me of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush (shade Nude Mauve)
This blush is an exact dupe for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure-it's the exact same neutral mauve tone I love.

CYO Shimmer Switch (shade In the Clouds)
This highlighter is one of my new favorites-it's subtle, but it looks quite shimmery in the pan and just looks beautiful in the pan.

Milani Rose Blush Palette (shade Flowers of Love)
This blush palette has three individual blushes that aren't found in the Rose Blush singles, and I did pick the shade Flowers of Love as those blushes are more suited for my skintone as I'm light neutral.
