5 Bloggers I Turn to when I'm Seriously Lacking Inspiration

by - Friday, January 10, 2020

I've been feeling a lack of inspiration lately, and to counter that, I often go on my favorite bloggers' websites to gather some inspiration to photography and blog posts and here are five of the bloggers that inspire me when I'm seriously lacking some inspiration.

From Roses
I've been following Rebecca for almost 6 years now and her blog is one of the most inspirational blogs I've ever come across. I love her airy gorgeous shots and the way she does her beauty content-she doesn't need to go hauling every week to come up with new content. I love how she recycles the products she has already in order to come up with blog posts. I also adore her two little whippets, Edie and Josie.

Money Can Buy Lipsticks
I've been following Teresa for roughly 2-3 years, and I love how girly her blog is-it's blush pink and white, which is my aesthetic exactly, and I love how in detail she gets about her wedding and certain sales. I love how her apartment looks and I would love my own apartment to look half as good as hers when I get one.

Jaye Rockett
I've been following Jaye for roughly a year or two, and I love how in depth she gets about chronic illness and how it affects her daily life (I really wish more people would blog about this!) but she also focuses on other things like beauty and lifestyle. Jaye's blog is certainly worth a read if you love living the slow life and experiencing the simple pleasures in life.

Daisybutter
Michelle is one of my favorites to read as she is not bashful about sharing the struggles of being British-Chinese, and as an American-Chinese, I relate very much to her struggles, despite us being located across the pond from each other. Michelle highlights several issues of being born Chinese in another country, such as racism, cultural appropriation, and being in an interracial relationship. I also love her "Petite Joys" and "Sundaze" posts. She has inspired me to seriously start thinking about making posts about my experiences in being American-born Chinese as well.

Emily Clare Beauty
I discovered Emily about a couple months ago, and I fell in love with her blog. She does mostly fashion content, but what I appreciate about Emily's fashion posts is that she uses all affordable brands and she doesn't have designer bags at all. She also blogs about issues surrounding social media as well, and I love how well put together her posts are.
