Five Good Things from 2019

by - Wednesday, January 15, 2020

Even though 2019 was unarguably the worst year of all time (and second worst year of my existence), there were some good things that happened.

1. Meeting a lot of new friends
2019 was the year I got my Xbox, and because of that, I met a lot of new friends, all online of course. I've now formed two solid groups of friends and I could not be more grateful for meeting them (if you're reading this, thanks for tolerating me).

2. Getting my cameras
Last year was also the year I decided to take the jump and invest in a couple of cameras-my G7X for places where I don't feel like dragging my big old SLR out for fear of breaking it and Youtube videos and my T7i for at home blog photos and the occasional video. I could not be happier with the way my photos have drastically improved from my iPhone photos and it's led me to buy more photo props and experiment more.

3. Making the whole of the 2018-2019 school year on the dean's list
If any of you don't know, I'm currently in the process of doing a bachelor's degree and I've successfully made the dean's list for the whole year, which was something I never could accomplish at my old community college.

4. I grew my blog (by a little)
Towards the end of 2019, I decided to use blogger RT accounts to help grow my blog, and it did work, a little bit. I went from having 30 views per post to now having 100 views per post and I'm hoping to grow my viewership a bit more this year.

5. I bleached and colored my hair for the first time
Last year, I finally bit the bullet and bleached my hair (much to my parents' chagrin). I also ended up coloring it (pink and blue) and I like it a lot.

What good things happened in the last year?
